Pictures of Children: Home In Pailou China And Market In Langson Vietnam.

Pictures of children were being taken within a few minutes of our arrival in Pai Lou. The occasion was a visit to the Chinese family of a friend. We did not have to go far to take the pictures of children, as the children in the street came to inspect the strange foreign fellow in their neighborhood. A group gathered by the open door of the family home. The two young girls in the photo above were distracted by the antics of my friend's nephew, so their images were added to the collection of pictures of children in China.

The Vietnamese boy and girl shown in these pictures of children, were in a market in Langson, Vietnam, close to the Chinese border. Each of the children had a small bundle of sugar cane with them, grown in the locality. In a nearby street, more than half of the hawkers were selling sugar cane. The market, where the pictures of children were taken, had stalls selling bowls of hot spicy noodles with a very appetizing aroma.
