Ming, in these pictures of people, was one of the drivers of the police jeep we were using to get around Longzhou and the surrounding district. This picture was taken when we went to visit a Chinese school, on our way to the border town of Xui Kou

| One day we went to visit Zhong's Grandma, shown in the pictures of people, who was 80 years of age at the time of our visit. When we arrived she was busy finely chopping ingredients used in Chinese medicine. Her open fronted shop was stacked with bamboo ware, and it was one of many such shops in the narrow street. |

| Pictures of people eating in the park near the rear entrance to the Temple Of Heaven in Beijing. Nearby there was a small cabin selling Chinese food in polystyrene containers. The used containers and empty drink cans were regularly collected by women. |

Some of the pictures of people sleeping where taken whilst walking through the China streets. The sleeping people seemed not to be disturbed by passing road traffic nor by the sound of clicking cameras.
