China Photos From The Temple Of Heaven Park In Beijing.

The park of the Temple Of Heaven has three main sections, The Round Altar, The Temple Of The Gods and The Hall Of Prayers For Good Harvests. In the Park, an orchard of exotic fruit attracted the attention of magpies, feasting on the fallen fruit. To the Temple Of Heaven Park in Beijing, on the day of the winter solstice, came the Chinese Emperors to pray for good harvests and to atone for the sins of the people.
