Pictures of Chinese Takeaway Foods Cooked By Chinese Chefs.
Chinese takeaway foods and Chinese food served at Chinese restaurants in the UK are usually refered to as 'Chinese'. The question, 'What would you like to eat for dinner?' will quite often bring the answer, 'Chinese!' It is not that the people are cannibals, but that Chinese Takeaway Foods are very popular. Even small towns and villages are likely to have a Chinese Takeaway shop, selling Chinese foods, fish and chips, pies and baps etc. It is a Fast Food service available mid-day and evenings from most Chinese Takeaway Shops.
Cooking Chinese food at home can be done at leisure, cooking Chinese foods to be taken away by customers, must be done quickly. The kitchens of Chinese takeaway shops are specially equipped with gas burners to provide instant and fierce heat for cooking the Chinese foods.

There is no time to measure ingredients and the popular Chinese takeaway shops have gained their reputations through the skill and experience of their Chinese Chefs. It is quite spectacular to watch an experience Chinese Chef cook four different Chinese dishes, in four different woks on four different burners, all at the same time.
There must be no confusion between spicey Chinese food, sweet and sour Chinese food, Chinese food with pork or chicken, but there are seldom complaints!
The pictures of the Chinese takeaway foods below were taken immediately after cooking and before they were handed to the customers. The meals were not specially prepared. All photos of Chinese food shown on these pages are for illustration purposes only.

Take-out; Take-away;Carry-out
Take-out (in North American English and Philippine English), carry-out (in U.S. and Scottish English), take-away (in England, Australia, Hong Kong and Ireland), parcel (in Indian English), or tapau (in Malaysian English and Singlish), is food purchased at a restaurant but eaten elsewhere. The restaurant may or may not provide table service. In the United States and Canada, food ordered this way (especially in fast food) is ordered to go, and in the United Kingdom it is ordered to take away or sometimes to eat out, as opposed to eating in.
In some cases, there are facilities for customers to order food by telephone, fax, or over the Internet, to be collected or delivered. This trend is thought to be on the rise as many small businesses take to the Web to promote their take-outs.
Take-out food is often fast food, but not always so. Whereas fast food carries the connotation of a standardized product from a globalized chain or franchise, take-away outlets are often small businesses serving traditional food, which is sometimes but by no means always of high quality. Examples include neighbourhood fish and chip shops in the UK, Australia and New Zealand; sandwiches sold by delis in the U.S.; kebabs sold in many countries; and the wide range of sausage-based snacks sold from stalls in German cities.
