Sun Light On Beijing Olympics Site Casts Shadows Of Bird's Nest Stadium And Chinese Workmen.

Clear blue sky and low sun changes the image of the Olympic Stadium given the name of 'Bird's Nest' because of its unique design and appearance. To anyone making a first visit to the Olympic Site in Beijing, the Bubble Building, aka., National Swimming Center, and the Olympic Stadium, aka, Bird's Nest, are wonderful sights to behold. For the Chinese workmen on the site, both stadia are taken for granted as part of the scenery to which they have become accustomed. The Chinese workmen wearing yellow safety hats as they hauled a load of bricks on their trolley, seemed to ignore the stadia they were passing, but kept a watchful eye on the foreign visitor with a camera standing on the site road.
